1. Mentorship
Having access to a mentor that is also a mental health professional is what distinguishes D.O.V.E. from many transitional homes in the area. We believe young mothers need guidance as they learn how to become strong effective women and mothers.
  2. Life Training
Many of the young mothers we help have had little direction or guidance in developing life skills that will make them successful as adults. We spend time teaching them these skills so they can effectively model these traits to their children and break the cycle.
  3. Financial Training
We teach young mothers how to be successful money managers. We show them how to create and mange budgets and plan/save for the future.
Making Young Mothers Successful
We provide help to struggling mothers...
OUR PROGRAM
Life at Daughters of Virtue Eternal Transition Home (D.O.V.E.) affords families the opportunity to build healthy friendships and support networks with other families. A total of 4-single families can reside in the home at the same time. Families share a common living area, dining room, bathroom and kitchen. Meal preparation and house chores are shared among the residents. Each family has their own private bedroom.

OUR VISION
To empower women and children who have been hurt, abused and rejected so that they are afforded the opportunity to regain control of their lives and re-establish their dignity by providing long-term (up to 18 months) transitional housing, positive mentoring and coaching and supportive services through the love of Jesus Christ. The emphasis is on permanent behavioral and life style changes by forming healthy relationships and healthy support networks that will enable the women and their children to be successful as they make the transition from D.O.V.E to independent living.

He sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground; but the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand and took her and pulled her in to him.
